ABOUT THE SUMMIT

The European Athletics Coaching Summit in Luxembourg brings together coaches, practitioners, and experts for two days of learning and exchange in Luxembourg on 10–11 October 2026. The conference focuses on the critical phases of athlete development, including the transition from junior to senior level, talent identification and development, long-term athlete development strategies, and coaching methodologies that support sustainable performance.

Presentations from leading experts will challenge thinking, share evidence-based insights, and highlight innovative approaches to athlete development and coaching practice.

Practical insights

Dedicated sessions will provide practical insights which participants can apply in their coaching .

Networking

Dedicated networking moments create space to connect with fellow coaches and practitioners, and share experiences.

Live translations

All presentations will be translated from English into French and vice versa.

The conference will take place at the Coque – Centre National Sportif et Culturel, one of Luxembourg’s most iconic venues, located in the heart of the Kirchberg district. Renowned for hosting international sporting events, conferences, and high‑level professional gatherings, the Coque offers a modern, inspiring setting with state‑of‑the‑art facilities—providing the ideal environment for learning, collaboration, and meaningful exchange throughout the summit.

REGISTRATION

Three price categories are available for the summit and include different packages.

European Athletics

Coaching Summit Series Scholarship

European Athletics Member Federations are eligible for a Scholarship from European Athletics. Applications must be submitted by the Member Federation.

  • 400€ if one coach participates in a Coaching Summit Series event
  • 800€ if two coaches participate in a Coaching Summit Series event
  • 1200€ if three coaches participate in a Coaching Summit Series event and at least one coach is a woman
